Queen of Fairyland

At first glance, it may seem surprising: Maleficent as a pig. Why did I choose to portray the powerful dark fairy in this unusual form?
Quite simply – because for me, art is a play with contrasts. Maleficent embodies elegance, power, and a dark severity. A pig, on the other hand, is often associated with down-to-earthness, humor, or even clumsiness. By bringing these two extremes together, a new figure emerges that unites both: strength and self-irony.
The pig breaks the seriousness of the classic fairytale character and gives her an unexpected, almost humorous twist. At the same time, her aura remains intact – proud, mysterious, and with a touch of magic.
For me, this portrayal is also a small reminder that we all carry different sides within us: serious and playful, powerful and vulnerable, dark and light. And sometimes true strength reveals itself precisely when we can laugh at ourselves.
